All you need to clean composite decking is soap, hot water, and a soft bristle brush. No special tools are required.

This is because there is no decaying wood for termites and other unwanted insects to feed on and burrow into and no moist wood for mould to thrive on. Since plastic is naturally resistant to water retention, there is no nutritional value in composite decking to pests or mould.
